ICAJ offers free Japanese lessons designed specifically for foreign residents!

Whether you prefer learning online or in person, our lessons help you build practical language skills for daily life, work, and community engagement.

✅ What We Offer:

  • Beginner to intermediate-level Japanese lessons

  • Flexible online and in-person options

  • A supportive, interactive learning environment
     

🧾 Eligibility:

These lessons are free of charge for foreign residents who can provide proof of long-term residency (over 12 months) in Japan.
 

💡 Support ICAJ (Optional):

To keep our services accessible and sustainable, we suggest a donation of 500 yen per class. Your contribution helps us organize more community-based support—but donations are entirely optional and not required to join.

The Intercultural Association of Japan (ICAJ) is a community-based organization dedicated to supporting foreign residents in Japan. In addition to language support, cultural integration programs, and mental well-being care, ICAJ promotes advocacy and community-building rooted in diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect. Our vision is to create a society where foreign residents are never isolated and can live authentically with a strong sense of belonging.
